Welcome to aberguild.co.uk
Aberexpress - Stress free coach travel to your hometown.
Aberexpress.co.uk has been developed to cater exclusively for Aberystwyth University students. It is run by an outside transport company who have asked for us to promote their new services.
They are providing express, value for money coach services taking you from University to towns and cities across Wales and England, at the end of each term and returning again at the start of each term.
Their outward services for this Summer will run on Sunday 27th May and Saturday 2nd June and return on Sunday 23rd September as detailed on the timetables published on their website.
Simply look up the destination nearest to your home, and then make a booking by PayPal or cheque. In the event of a large amount of bookings being taken for one destination, they will run direct services, reducing journey times even further. As this service develops it is hoped to run mid-term weekend coaches to the same destinations and also to concert/sporting events. Have a look on the website www.aberexpress.co.uk and see if this may benefit your journey home from Aber!

Aberystwyth University Sub-Aqua Club have recently purchased a new rigid-hulled inflatable boat (RIB) to support training and recreational diving activities in Cardigan Bay, and further afield. Measuring 5.4 m in length, and capable of carrying up to six fully equipped divers, the vessel represents an invaluable addition to the club’s equipment. This includes 14 full sets of SCUBA equipment and an extensive collection of training aids; for use both in sheltered and open water environments.
This is a scheme run by the Guild of Students, giving students the opportunity to recognise the hard work and effort tutors, lecturers and administrative staff put into helping you towards your qualification.
